Moneira is the "big wig" of the Ministry of Education I was telling you about who felt horrible about Alex. She is the one who jumped through hoops to find Andrew for us. She also was sitting in our court and had to speak about Ana and her history and state that she had seen us interact well with her. She was crying in court as well with happiness for Ana and us. She told me after court she would still work very hard for us to maybe come back for Alex someday and apologized again. Notice her folder. When I asked if I could take her picture she grabbed it out of her bag and told me she has had this folder 7 years from the first American couple she assisted in the adoption process. She is a very proud and strong lady who has the children and families best interest at heart. I'm glad she is on "our side".
