Linderhof Palace

This palace was my favorite as a kid and still is. Marc liked Neuschwanstein the best so far. This palace has amazing rooms inside but we couldn't take pictures. King Ludwig's bedroom is the largest room and it is full of real gold, porcelain, velvet...beautiful!

These are just some of the grounds around the Palace. This picture is from the front of Linderhof. I was kinda bummed because it is just a bit too early for all the flowers and vines to be blooming yet. There was even a small patch of snow on the ground in some spots. It's still beautiful though.

This picture was taken from the back of side of Linderhof in a neat gazebo type thing. Yes, we hiked ALL over the grounds. There was a cave that was treated as an oprah house that Wagner would come visit and perform. Behind that pool of water is an awesome waterfall...that the King could see from his bedroom window...SO fun.
