Oberammagau

This town is full of the neatest wood carvings. My family bought a nativity set while we were here and we looked at them also and loved them as well. But we keep telling ourselves this is a trip of site seeing and eating...no room to bring home anything but Russian souvenirs! Hopefully we will be back someday...

Oberammagau is a little town in Garmisch that has the neatest buildings. Most of them are painted on and on our little tour we took to the Salt Mines...the guide told us the colors will last 100 years. There is some sort of special deal in the paint...very cool.

Just a regular clothing store...but with AWESOME paintings on the building. We had the best meal in Oberammagau too!
