6 May - Trier
Today we slept in and honestly... we just NOW got adjusted to the time zones. We went to Ramstein so Marc could get a haircut and I paced the BX. It has been so hot since we have been here so we both broke down and bought a short sleeve shirt. Our same 4 outfits are starting to get old! Then we headed to Trier. Trier is the oldest town settled in Germany.
The Porta Nigra was built in the second century and it is AMAZING how old this town is and how many neat buildings are still here. Again, we walked the town square area and had a nice afternoon. We drove back to the Bjorgen's in time for dinner. Kind of a slower paced day...very nice.
