7 May - Belgium

We left the Bjorgen's this morning and headed to Belgium. Marc's friend from pilot training, Todd Tobergte and his sweet wife Kimberly, have lived in Belgium for the last three years. Todd has flown with the Belgique Air Force and is about to move to Phoenix in a month! We have always wanted to see their house in their village and we squeezed it in today since their packers come next week. They drove us up to Brussels and we saw more neat old buildings and had "mussels in Brussels" for dinner.
This is our yummy meal..."Mussels in Brussels". We hit everything in a couple of hours...ate a Belgium waffle...bought some belgium chocolate...bought Ana a Belgium lace handkerchief. A neat thing my parents did when we were here was bought me and my sister a lace handkerchief for our wedding days. We both had them when we got married and it was a special thing for us. SO, I thought that would be a neat thing to do for Ana. Tomorrow we head back to Germany and will stay our last night in a Castle Hotel on the Rhine river. We plan to stop at some wineries along the way. Tuesday we head back to Moscow to start "phase 3" of our trip! Go get our sweet little girl! I doubt we will be able to touch base until the 10th from Kazan. Plane ride...train ride...FUN!

Hey Guys,
I told the kids about your travels and read them quite a few of the blogs. They now have the site and will probably be checking it out. What a great trip and exciting news. God Bless! MOLLY
